Forrest B. Johnson and Associates Represents the Family of an Unarmed Man who was Shot and Killed by Macon Police at a local Kroger
On Friday afternoon, December 21, 2012, Sammie Davis, Jr., age 49, was visiting a local Kroger as he had done on many occasions. For reasons still unknown, he was shot multiple times in the chest by Macon Police Officer Clayton Sutton in the Kroger parking lot. At the time of this shooting, Mr. Davis was unarmed. To date, the Macon Police Department has been unable to shed any light on what caused Officer Sutton to shoot an unarmed in the chest multiple times.
