Stanford N. (“Stan”) Klinger is a native of Atlanta, Georgia where he has been a trial lawyer for 25 years.  He attended Davidson College “The Princeton of the South,” a school consistently ranked in the top ten liberal arts colleges in the United States. Stan received an Academic and Athletic Scholarship to Davidson to play football in the Southern Conference.  He was four year starter on the football team and also lettered in wrestling and track.

He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Davidson in 1983. He later received his Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law in 1987. At GSU, he had the distinction of serving as a Senior Editor of the Law Review. He later received a Diploma from the National Institute for Trial Advocacy in 1987 and from the National College of Advocacy Trial Advocates Program at Emory University in 1990.

Stan primarily represents individuals who have suffered serious injuries or the surviving families of those who have lost their lives through the carelessness of others.  Cases in which Stan serves as Lead Counsel include wrongful death claims, Civil Rights Actions, tractor trailer and car accident cases, premises liability matters, injuries stemming from defective products and other matters involving the negligence of corporations or individuals.  In his 25 year career, he has tried numerous cases to verdict resulting in millions of dollars for his clients.

Stan has been a speaker at seminars for the continuing education of Georgia Attorneys, including giving presentations on topics such as Civil Litigation, Premises Liability, Bad Faith Insurance Litigation and Dog Attacks in Georgia.  
Stan is licensed to practice in all of the State and Superior Courts of Georgia as well as the Georgia Supreme Court; the Georgia Court of Appeals; United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Georgia; and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.

Stan holds the highest rating possible (AV) by Martindale-Hubble, a nationally recognized lawyer directory. The AV rating recognizes “the highest level of skill and integrity” in the profession.

Stan lives in Atlanta with his wife and 3 children, where he has coached both football and baseball over the years.  His Murphey Candler Baseball teams have won three Little League District Championships and his Atlanta Colts Division I Football Teams won two North Metro Football Championships.  He now serves as an 8th Grade Football Coach at St. Pius X Catholic High School in Atlanta.  He was honored by being inducted into the Druid Hills High School Hall of Fame, an honor reserved to those alumni who have excelled both academically and athletically in their post-high school career.

He has been active in his community serving on his local Homeowner’s Association, the Board of the Atlanta Colts Youth Football Program and as the President of the Murphey Candler Little League Board of Directors.
