Forrest B. Johnson & Associates is continuing its commitment to supporting higher education. We donated $50,000 in scholarships to students at Unionville Missionary Baptist Church, Central Union Missionary Baptist Church, Greater Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, and New Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church.
It was a wonderful day for the Macon community at the Rosa Jackson Recreation Center, 1211 Maynard Street in Macon. Forrest B. Johnson and associates provided much needed school supplies to help single mothers and their children prepare for school this year.
Tuesday afternoon, December 11, 2012, a 5-year old victim was struck by a FedEx vehicle within a few feet from his home in the Kensington Station Apartments in DeKalb County, Georgia. The victim was a kindergarten student at Midway Elementary School. He was a son, a grandson, a little brother, a nephew, a friend - he was loved. The 5 year old's parents and family are heartbroken and devastated by the loss of this little boy. Several witnesses to this event, many of whom are children, are also traumatized by the event.
